Winnipeg Regional Health Authority

Hannah Moffatt is the Population Health Equity Initiatives Leader with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA). She plays an active role in the region’s Health for All efforts and is passionate about improving the health of all Canadians.

Originally from St. John’s, Hannah has made herself at home from coast to coast. She has lived in Montreal, Vancouver, and Antigonish and moved to Winnipeg to join the team at the WRHA.

Her work crosses sectors and partnerships for health equity, poverty reduction, Indigenous health and cultural safety, food security, healthy built environment, financial empowerment, and broadly the social determinants of health.

Hannah holds a Bachelor in Environmental Science from McGill University and a Master of Public Health from Simon Fraser University.

Hannah participates with the Manitoba Public Health Association, Next Up Winnipeg, and Make Poverty History Manitoba. She believes we need to work upstream and involve community members to alter the institutions, policies, and practices that cause health inequities.
